Players may form their own clubs within Daybreak Academy. Clubs may be formed by any students as desired, while ICly all clubs require at least 5 members and a Faculty advisor, OOCly, a single character may form a club on their own and assume they have NPC students taking part. The Faculty advisor may also be assumed to be an NPC if desired, but we strongly encourage clubs find a PC advisor and PC members wherever possible to facilitate more and varied interactions between characters. The founding PC member of the club will hold the role of club president and be responsible for its administration, although that role can be passed to another PC at the beginning of a new quarter.
Clubs are authorized for a single quarter, after which they must apply for renewal. To be eligible for renewal, a club must conduct one open log during the quarter the club is incorporated. When applying for renewal at the beginning of a new quarter, the club’s president needs to reply to their club post with a link to their club’s log from the prior quarter. Daybreak quarters are October through December, January through March, April through June, and July through September (Summer quarter, which is June through September, does not require a club log to renew as most clubs are inactive for Summer quarter but clubs may still remain active during the summer if desired).
Students are free to join any and all clubs they wish, although we encourage them to coordinate with the club president so they can get involved in club activities.
Clubs have access to their own club room and a "modest" budget (which, given the wealth of the Academy, is equal to several thousand dollars a month). Club rooms and topics are generally not restricted by Academy staff unless things get too out of hand, and clubs are welcome to decorate and maintain their rooms as they wish.

Club Description: Exactly what it says on the tin, the cooking club isn't just a place where people can cook together. It's a place where people can share the foods they love, try things that other people love, and generally let food bring people together. Prospective members don't necessarily need to come in knowing how to cook: if they're willing to learn, cooking lessons will be provided. If another club needs food for an event or the like, they can arrange something with the current president to have the Cooking Club provide. Also, expect fundraiser bake sales.
Club Room Description: The club's commandeered a culinary arts classroom for its purposes, which includes two fridges, two sinks and two stoves. There's also plenty of actual cooking equipment such as a large variety of pots and pans for cooking and baking, various utensils, and just... anything you'd find in a standard kitchen at the very least. Also, some of the budget is also going towards ingredients. (Expect more things to be added as the club gains members...)
There's now a notice on one of the walls that anything that registers higher than 350,000 on the Scoville scale is banned from the club room, and that if it's between 50,000 and 350,000 SHU, Becky isn't allowed to touch it.
President: Lia
Members: Recruitment is ongoing! But so far, Lia, Vivi, Leonardo, Becky, Kohaku, Ana, and Adelaide
(Anyone interested in membership or the advisor role, please PM me so I'll be able to edit the comment!)
